Namaste is Hindu spelled "Namaste” pronounced "Nam-a-stay".
Namaste is not a religious word, it's a Hindu greeting used every day in India and in many Yoga studios in the western world.
When meaning to say Namaste brings your hands together and places them near your heart while saying "Namaste"
There are a variety of definitions, but the one I like best is below.

I honor the place in you
in which the entire Universe dwells,

I honor the place in you
which is of Love, of Truth, of Light and of Peace, 

When you are in that place in you,
and I am in that place in me,
we are One.
